After school tutoring: will request missing work from teachers for students

Art Club invites student artists to meet up and create together after school on Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45. From making club t-shirts and buttons to creating and sharing drawings and paintings, art club provides students with the time, space, and materials to be creative outside of/in addition to art class curriculum.

Provide written and verbal affirmations to students and staff.

The Culinary Club gives middle school students a fun, hands-on opportunity to explore different cultures through cooking. Each week, students will make a recipe from a different country while learning basic cooking skills, kitchen safety, teamwork, and nutrition. Join us as we travel around the world—one recipe at a time!

Our Heart & Sole middle school program is designed to meet the unique needs of 6th-8th grade girls of all abilities. The program considers the whole person – body, brain, heart, spirit and social connection. Heart & Sole offers an inclusive place of belonging, where participants feel supported and inspired to explore their emotions, cultivate empathy and strengthen their physical and emotional health. At the end of the season, all team members complete a 5K.

The Jazz Crusaders is a premier ensemble of the CMS Band Program. Students must be committed to outside class practice and willing to participate. Students will learn all Jazz Styles including Swing, Rock, Funk, and Latin to name a few and participate in Improvisational Solos.

For the past two years, I have run a Science Lunch Club where students can come in during lunch for homework help, tutoring, and extra academic support. While the focus is science, students are welcome to receive assistance with any subject, ask questions, or get caught up on assignments.

Students of any grade or level can receive help with their math homework

Students will work together to put on a musical production with all elements including technical components.

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a premier middle-level student organization that recognizes outstanding middle school students. Established in 1929, it challenges and elevates students through the five pillars of excellence: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship

Pixel to plastic is a student-focused 3D printing club that will introduce middle school students to design, problem-solving, and additive manufacturing. Students will use age-appropriate design software to create and print original projects while developing collaboration, persistence, and STEM skills. The club will operate under teacher supervision and follow all school technology, equipment, and safety expectations.

Students will be joining this club to complete their projects for Geeks Night Out.

Sports club is a safe space to work on any missing assignments for school (ticket to be able to play or work out) and then upon finishing a certain amount of assignments then students work on either sports related exercises or actually playing their craft in the Gym or in a space outside. Purpose is to teach discipline on the academic level to the sports level.

The purpose of this organization shall be to assist the student body, the faculty, and the administration of Connolly Middle School and Aspire Academy; to foster ideas of democracy; and develop the principles of responsibility, leadership, personal growth, self-discipline, and good citizenship.

In this club we will take pictures of school events and create the yearbook. Need to have ability to attend after school events.
